Damned Be The Black Turtleneck
I love the idea of using a black turtleneck as a base for transitioning a host of summer pieces into more winter-friendly items. But I'll be damned if I can execute it well. I've tried it on occasion, like the day I wore my Missoni dress with a black turtleneck (fail). Many fashion gurus seem to pull this off so easily, yet I can't seem to make it work right. Note to self: Add this to list of reasons why I'm certainly NOT a fashion guru! In any case, I tried again with this outfit and find it " meh ." I actually really like the light gray tights with the black heeled booties, but the top half of the outfit, in my opinion, leaves something...
