Chambray: Menswear vs. Feminine
I have had mixed feelings about wearing chambray to the office. I think it's probably a go in most office but working in banking where everyone wears navy pinstripes I stick out like a sore thumb. I have new hires making comments to me like 'Wow, you like colors!". I guess they are not used to seeing someone that colors outside of the lines. I have to say, I am starting to slowly convert to loving chambray for the office. I think as long as the shirt is dressier cut, it's a go. I love what a great blank canvas a chambray shirt is.
