ABSORBED
Black absorbs light and is an absence of color. Aside from that witless statement about my obviously black outfit, the feeling of being absorbed in school, work, and the city has been continually creeping up on me. Flickers of jaded emotion consume me. How can it be that I'm turning my back on the city that has molded me into the headstrong, experienced, and playful person that I am?
