Shades of Gray
Pictures by David F. Most clothes are better shown in color but black and white photos do add character to the subject and composition. One well-known photographer Ted Grant even said that when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls. Black and white pictures are actually in shades of gray. I like these shots David took along Boulevard de Grancy just below the Lausanne train station (a charming neighbourhood where I would not hesitate to live in one of these period apartments).
