I last wore this dress on a weekend and had been wanting to re-wear it to work, but let me tell you: it was a challenge. A skirt this poofy has a retro vibe that really only feels right at a cocktail party these days. It would be easier if it were the late 50s or early 60s. But then again, if it were, I would most likely be a secretary and my husband would be the lawyer. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a secretary or having a husband, but, you know…neither one is really my style.
