I have been trying to experiment with colors outside of my default zone to liven up my wardrobe. I think trying different colors widens your creativity and allows you to dive into styles you have not tried before. This lavender piece was part of my experiment but I did not go completely out of my comfort zone as it came with lace, which is one of my favorite details to have in an outfit.
