Rain, rain go away…

I swear it has not stopped raining here for almost 5 days! We have a leak in our roof, the garden is a mud pit and the roads are slick. It’s perfect weather for sneakers! On Friday I had a lovely lunch with a friend and then we grabbed the kids for a painting party after school. It was so much fun and a great way to keep them occupied in crappy weather. It took me back to my art classes in school (which I loathed) as we were painting still life – apples, sunflowers and cabbages!
