Physiology of October the First
I'm spending the first day of October in my living room, with a cup of hot chamomile tea in my hand and a good old Jane Austen book which I especially enjoy at this time of the year. Autumn came almost over the night, took away all the sun but I don't blame her because she brought so much more. Actually, I'm a little impatient while looking out the window for that yellow and orange foliage and the whole explosion of beautiful warm colors. I would swap a thousand summers for just one autumn! Swimsuits for trench coats, flip-flops for ankle boots, the dead silence of the midday heat for the sound of the rain, watermelon and ice cream for chestnuts and pumpkin, beach...
