The Best Weekend Getaway out of Vancouver (Especially around the Holidays!)

Little getaways are so important to me. Every so often, I have found that being able to get out of town for a day or two really helps me recharge. The funny thing is, while I've always heard that Seattle is incredible - I actually had never been until this past weekend. And now that I know how easy Seattle is to get to from Vancouver, I definitely know that we'll be heading down there more often. Plus, as bad as this sounds - I hadn't really accomplished any of the holiday shopping I usually would by this time.
