Bits of lace floatingon the breath of the wind,dancing and falling to theirresting place upon the lashes of my eye.Blinking, one spot of lace sails on down my cheek, dripping then dying,to never be again.{Bits of Lace, by Maria Elyse}To me, snow has always looked like lace on a cloudy day, and diamonds on a sunny day. It's been snowing all of last night and today, and it's so beautiful. The world around me is an enchanted, white land. I love watching the snowflakes dance down from the sky; it evokes a sense of something both lovely and melancholy. Like raindrops.
