Winter Storm Jonas was a major hit last week, literally. From the standpoint of New York, never have I ever witnessed a city shut down so quickly, buried under two feet of snow. And to think it’s known as the city that never sleeps.. I’m pretty sure most of NYC’s residents spent Saturday/Sunday indoors & catching up on rest – I definitely took advantage of that. Or maybe they couldn’t make it outdoors because they didn’t think to consider winter gear, let alone a pair of snow boots to take on the conditions.
New York can be harsh enough in the winter – now imagine it with snow, ice and everything else...
