It was only around a week ago I expressed my surprise to every unfortunate passer-by at not being frozen to the core considering the month was now January. Though, clearly England heard me and so similar to how last year's summer appeared out of nowhere, winter has now well and truly arrived - and with little warning! On this relaxing and plant-packed day, the sun was setting beautifully, the wind picked up and the temperature dropped to just 1ºC... With no gloves or thermals on, I realised just how underprepared I was to be walking outdoors.
