DIY Palm Print Short Set

I created this diy palm print short set from a rayon crepe fabric I purchased from Fabric Mart’s brick and mortar store in Hawaii.  When I purchased this fabric, I had absolutely no idea what I was going to make with it, but I figured whatever I made would be appropriate and tropical looking for the island, because of the palm print. Very logical way of thinking, minus the fact that it is brown/black and no some vibrant and bold color combination..lol Well let first start off by saying that I am very happy with how the simon top and shorts turned out in regards to my sewing, but not so sure about my choice of using this fabric for this two...
