Calm Before the Storm

Last night we had some severe weather here in Indiana. Being born and raised in tornado country has created a love-hate relationship with thunder storms. On one hand I love to stay in bed and listen to the rain and thunder, but on the other hand: tornadoes. I really missed thunderstorms when I lived in Seattle for a few years! Before the bad weather hit, yesterday was actually pretty beautiful! I grabbed sushi and mojitos with a girlfriend for dinner, and as the dark clouds started rolling in we snapped a few pictures. I thought about wearing heels with this dress, but they seemed to dress this look up too much for a casual dinner. I'm glad I stuck...
