The Home Place
When I was back home in Texas last weekend I found it to be the perfect opportunity to wear the dress I designed for my Splendid X Damsel collection. I also found it to be the perfect trip to experience something for the very first time: a south Texas sunrise during harvest season. My Dad and I woke up at 5am and patiently waited for my photographers to roll over. We all headed over to “The Home Place” which is the piece of land that has been farmed in my family for about 150 years.
