The leaves start changing in the mountains way earlier than where I live, so it's fun to pack up and hop in the car for a weekend getaway. Both Blowing Rock and Highlands are GORGEOUS mountain towns in North Carolina. Anyway, the second best part of the road trip is always packing up for it!
