My Go to Beach in Cebu
Ever since I was a kid, the beach was always the easiest way to put a smile on my face. My parents knew I was a water baby from the start. On long weekends or holidays, I’d beg mom and dad to take us to the beach. Our favorite go-to spot was always Shangri-la Mactan, just 30 mins (now 1 hour huhu traffic!) from our home in Cebu. Fast forward to 20 years later, and it’s still easily one of our go-to spots when we need a quick getaway from the city. It’s my mini home away from home, and everything about it just brings back memories from my childhood. Here are some postcards from our most recent time there. Enjoy!
