Shape shift: how not to dress like you belong in a fruit basket
Even if you don't believe in New Year's Resolutions as such, it's only natural to think of "change" when January rolls around. So how's this for a fashion objective for 2017 - isn't it high time that we banish the notion of "body types" when it comes to our personal style?? Whose idea was it anyway to turn a woman's figure into a geometry lesson...or - even worse! - to categorize us like the contents of a fruit bowl?? Your shape is simply your shape . That's it. The whole idea that we need to "wear this, not that" because we are a trapezoid or a kumquat is ridiculous!! How about shifting the focus from our silhouettes to the fabric and fit...
