Blazers and bluster: how to style a double-breasted suit jacket with skinny jeans and booties
Now that I've actually got a couple of blazer-style jackets in my wardrobe arsenal, I'm wondering what the heck took me so long to become a convert to this wardrobe classic!! I'm sure I'll forever think of "tailored" pieces as constricting...the polar opposite of easy-breezy jerseys and knits. But have you noticed?? More and more traditionally non-stretchy fabrics (like denim!) seem to include a modest Lycra content to help items like jackets and blouses - and jeans, of course! - fit better and feel more comfortable.
