For every ex-boyfriend, there’s a shoe box. You know the one. It usually gets shoved to the back of the closet or under the bed. Out of sight and out of mind. Full of little mementos and trinkets, notes and cards left over from the relationship. Sometimes it’s heavy, best reserved for that Manolo box.
