On Turning 20: confessions of a Quarter Life Crisis
The day I’ve been dreading has finally come: my 20 th birthday. I’m currently suffering from a bad bad bad birthday depression and all day I’ve been like, please don’t congratulate me on something I did not consciously achieve. What’s there to celebrate on a birthday, really? The fact that I managed to survive for the past 20 years? There’s not much competence needed for that, just a breathing body.
