Nothing like good old home. The Santa Monica Pier was Natalie’s and my playground growing up. We’ve watched it develop throughout the years. We went on a Ferris Wheel ride after what has been many years since our last one, and I felt how little has changed about this place. And I was happy about that. The same ocean. The same sunset. The same beach. The same crowd of people. The same music being played by artists on the boardwalk. The same seagulls. It all felt the same, and that felt very safe in my heart.
