How to make your house feel extra inviting this holiday season
A girlfriend tipped me off on this easy trick to make your place smell all kinds of cozy and inviting for the season: a holiday simmer pot! At first I thought well that’s just too fancy for my style… but actually it’s super simple–just throw any extra herbs and sliced fruits in a pot and let them simmer on low. If you know guests are coming over or if you just want the place to smell extra cozy while you’re home and hanging around the house, this has been getting me into the pre-Thanksgiving spirit.
