Zachlorou, the village on the mountains with the river and the railway.

Keep exploring Greece and this time I highly reccomend to pass by. Today I am visiting the area of Kalavrita, to be precise Zachlorou, around 80 kilometers from Patra. The place is a scenary for a movie. There is the river, next to it, the railway lines, stone houses and everything is surrounded by the mountains. I suggest to stop by the monastry of Mega Spileo first, and than explore the village and eat something really traditional in the small tavernas. As always, I hadn't the proper outfit (oxford shoes and light trench), cause I never decide where to go, till I am in the car, but this time I was clever enough to have one extra pair of boots and one extra...
