What is elegance?
„Elegance is refusal.“ – one of Coco Chanel’s quotes I often think of. But, what does she mean by that? Elegance has nothing to do with fashion. It’s quite the opposite, actually. She was freeing women out of wearing corsets, after all, and refused to go with the beauty ideal back then. Elegance lies within the essence of a woman, her movement, posture, expression, and the way she is treating others. Elegance is not about going with trends but rather sticking to your own true self.
