One of my good friends is a location hunter for several NYC-based TV shows. I’m sure that’s not what her actual title is, but that’s basically her job. She gets a descriptive list of places shows need to shoot, i.e. “quiet tree-lined street filled with townhomes” or “bar-lined avenue bustling with activity late-nite.” Then she stakes out the spots, gathers up addresses and turns it back in to the supervising producers.
