Floral + Polka Dot Swing Dress with a Jean Jacket.
Remixing some old summer faves for a new look.
I had an appearance on Better Kansas City the week before last and I needed something bright, fun, and summery. Short dresses are one of my go-to’s come summer, so this floral + polka dot swing dress stood out. (It last appeared on the blog in 2014 !) It checked all the aforementioned style boxes and would look great on TV when worn with a structured jean jacket.
I’ve had this jean jacket since high school. (I am not kidding; the left elbow is patched because I’ve worn through it!) It’s a style that translates to today: fitted + a bit cropped, with some nipping at the waist to define things....
