Afternoons by the River
That summer sunshine has a way of bringing out the carefree, bohemian in all of us. It also has a way of making me want to play hooky… turning off all electronics in favor of backyard picnics with Rex, ice cream and iced latte dates, long bike rides, and heading out in search of cooler temps down by the river. Which is really what summer should be all about! I’ve been taking full advantage of this hot weather lately, throwing together a basketful of snacks and not returning home until dusk.
