Want me to share a current obsession with you? Okay here it is: Poldark. It’s a BBC show, a period piece, and I love Demelza and Ross. They’re relationship is so flawed, but so complex, and fraught with real difficulty. And I love it. It’s not the cookie cutter period piece relationships we’ve been shown in the past. It’s not some Jane Austen fantasy. I like that it feels real – like two flawed people trying to love each other and hurting each other.
