I treat this old skirt with kid gloves these days, try not to wear it too often and wash it on a delicate cycle. It's only 8 years old but it's also the first Boden skirt I ever purchased and at the time, £59 felt like a lot for a skirt! In all honesty it's much better quality than a lot of items from recent years on which the hems have fallen down after one wear or the waistband has twisted in the wash. A similar skirt would also probably cost at least £69 now, but closer to £79 the way prices have increased lately. So I buy a lot less, rewear everything and wash it all carefully to ensure it lasts. Means my style is very samey as there is little emphasis on trends...
