The Dress That Started It All
This Par Avion dress is my very first ModCloth and the first dress that truly set my heart a-flutter. I was still finding my way in the fashion world. I'd been busy with toddlers for so long and before that I was a poor grad student and before that I was a poor undergrad student. This was the first time in my whole life maybe, but at least since my teens that I was able to think about what looked good on me while expressing who I am and how I wanted the world to see me. And this dress did all of that. Admittedly it was way too long. I had to take up the hem by about 5 inches, but it remains to this day one of my absolute favorites that I could never part with. ...
