Two Weeks Down Under: Australia’s Blue Mountains
And we’re back with another dispatch from my trip to Australia! We spent four days in Sydney last summer, and on our third day there, we took a day trip to the Blue Mountains, which are located about two hours west of the city. They’re super easy to get to—you just catch a train to Katoomba from Sydney’s Central Station, which is an affordable ticket you can buy on site at the station.
Upon arrival, we bought a ticket for the hop-on, hop-off bus, which you can buy just across the street from the Katoomba station. From there, we got on the bus and headed up to the mountains!
