rethinking khaki

Khaki is back baby! An old prepster favorite and a school dress code-raised kid’s worst nightmare, khaki is a somewhat polarizing color for me. As I mentioned in this post , it’s taken me years to warm up to it, but seeing it in a modern context ( repurposed into structured shapes , layered with similar tones , and styled with a more utilitarian vibe ) has most definitely changed my tune. A good khaki piece was on my spring shopping list and this skirt checked all of my boxes. I think it looks wonderful paired with black and beige and layered against a more feminine fabric like silk or satin. Expect to see this skirt in regular...
