I kept a diary for five years and I don't know why I stopped, because it was so nice to be able to dump all my emotions and thoughts into it at the end of the day, without fear of judgment or consequences. I mean, sure it was mostly about silly things like which classmate I loathed at that moment or the latest idiotic teacher-quote....but I was reading through it recently and it made me grateful that I'd documented my early teenage years so thoroughly. You can never really tell what's actually worth documenting until you're reading it years down the road. Maybe one day I'll discover the grandscheme cosmic significance of outfit-blogging, who knows?
