Long Weekend Style
It may have been a long weekend, but it went by far too fast. We had some beautiful summer weather, and friends invited me to spend an afternoon at a lake where I tried stand up paddle boarding for the first time. I was pleased with myself for not falling off, even though my main motivation was not wanting to get my hair wet, or having to feel the tentacle-like plant life brush against by legs (I'm a wimp, I know). For the Fourth, I decided to throw on shorts to stay cool, and pulled out this navy peplum top I got at J.Crew factory at the end of last summer.
