We were staying in Paris
I think there's hardly a city portrayed more on Social Media than Paris: glitter eiffel tower snaps, flashy Dior store fronts or green chairs at Tuileries. Even if you've never been there, you could probably name a hundred more images that are oh so typical for the French capital. However, my feeling of Paris was slightly afflicted by the one and only time I had visited the city: around 12 years ago on a winter school trip. All I remember was cold wind, long queues and boring museums (teenagers just have no appreciation, right? ;) ).
