BALANCE IS IN THE CONTRASTS
A theory I really respect is that balance is in the contrasts. The contrasts in characters, opinions, vision, style, you name it. In other words, anything that involves opposing elements actually feels balanced. It’s valid for the society we live in, for our partners in life and friends. It’s absolutely valid when it comes to style, too. The best looking outfits usually involve contrasts of some kind. Like this one here. The super casual T-shirt and dark jeans are a great style opponent to the elegant blazer and neckerchief, but they look so well together. You see – balance is in the contrasts. :)
