Dancing into the Next Decade
Today was the last day of school before Christmas break and as I was saying goodbye to my students, many of them said "see you next decade" in addition to the usual "see you next year." I actually had not stopped to think about the fact that in a little under two weeks we will not only be ushering in a new year but also a new decade! (This is probably because I have been so busy with school and preparing for Christmas!) Now that I have some time to finally relax, I'm really looking forward to not only Christmas but ringing also in the new year and the new decade.
