My 2020 Word of the Year
I believe last year was the first year that I came up with a word as an intention for the year. My friends and I sat around the dinner table on New Years Eve in Steamboat (December 31, 2018) and all said our one-word intentions for 2019. If you remember, I had just finished my four-month Remote Year program . I flew to my hometown on Christmas Eve, drove up to Chicago on the 27th, and then flew to Colorado for New Years on the 28th. While the ending of 2018 was the best ever (being in the mountains in a house with almost all of my best friends!), 2018 was far and away the hardest year of my life .
