Grilling (Casual Style)
On Sunday we went to Joe's parents for dinner, my parents were invited too so it was inevitable that there would be wedding talk/grilling (not started by me I hasten to add!) I feel a bit awkward as I don't want a big fuss but as it's Joe's first (and only I hope!) wedding and he's his Mum's only child, she is rightly interested and excited too. We've booked the venue and registrar, a band, a lady from running club is doing the flowers, a family friend is making the (Emma Bridgewater themed) cake, he has his suit, I've got my dress and Elodie's dress, we've already given notice of our intent to marry.... I don't want a "hen do" but people seem to think it's necessary...
