It's been hella icy this week, I've stopped using the country lane with the massive flood from the week before as it's now slippery with ice. There was a car on its roof on Monday down a wider but still county lane in a notorious downhill spot that always floods from the fields then ices over and another car off the road in a hedge. Apparently when it's been very mild and wet, then it's suddenly below freezing people forget how to drive...? I've been layering up all week with thin shirts under cashmere jumpers , jumpers over vests and now a shirt, dress and tweed blazer.
