Two Summer Days in Rome, Italy
After Cannes , I took a quick flight from Nice to Rome, Italy, where I was meeting up with friends for a two week Italian vacation. We started in Rome, then headed down to the Amalfi Coast, where we were based in Positano, but also spent time in Ravello and Capri. After that, we headed north to Florence before finishing off in Milan, with a day trip to Verona in between. We did all this over the end of June and July, so it was HOT (particularly because Europe was facing a heat wave at the time), but it was a wonderful trip full of pasta, pizza, and the petdrfect mix of culture and relaxation.
We were in Rome for three days, one of which was spent on a day trip...
