Sweater Vest + 90s Denim.
The sweater vest rises again.
2021 has arrived and so has the revival of the sweater vest. No longer reserved for Clueless Halloween costumes, the modern versions are slightly oversized and look best when paired with a slouchy button-up shirt. The resulting combo is preppy but not stuffy. I picked up this sweater vest from Nasty Gal (similar versions here and here ) and layered a simple shirt underneath.
How to complete this ensemble? A pair of 90s-style straight leg jeans. These Levi’s have a high waist, a relaxed leg, and are free of distressing or whiskering. Just a classic denim wash. I gave them a cuff and slipped on a pair of nude booties. Et...
