Truth: Acting jobs and accomplishments are few and far between, so it’s important to celebrate.
I get in my little Mazda, and drive across town to the studio, finish the touch ups on the audiobook I narrated, and am released. It’s a team effort, but it does feel very solo: driving by myself, sitting in the isolation booth by myself, and driving home. So, to celebrate finishing that I treat myself to an Almond milk latte at my local. No, it’s not much, but buying a latte always feels like an indulgence to me, so that’s what I do. I give myself a little pat on the back with this little take out cup.
