A Squeeze of Lemon

One nice thing about living in Southern California is that you can have a variety of fruit trees in your backyard and, therefore, have access to fresh fruit all year long! We have a number of citrus trees in our backyard and one avocado tree that has yet to produce fruit, much to my dismay. For someone who loves to cook, like I do, or make cocktails, like my husband does it's nice to have the convenience of just going out to the backyard when a recipe calls for an orange, a lemon, a lime, or a grapefruit.
