Butterfly Moto Jacket at LACMA
Last weekend, we were on the Miracle Mile in Los Angeles to visit the Petersen Automotive Museum. Because the LACMA museum is right down the street, I thought I would take a stroll to see the Urban Light installation, which is comprised of restored street lamps from the 20s and 30s. Some might consider this installation a bit controversial because it has been argued that the idea for carefully arranging vintage street lamps was taken from another artist by the name of Sheila Klein and her work Vermonica . Additionally, the LACMA is also in the midst of a very controversial redesign of their museum that has people who love art and architecture up in arms....
