pinterest is both a joy giver and a joy stealer for me. i’ve talked many times about how it’s been a life saver when i’m standing in front of my closet, not sure what to wear. but sometimes it complicates things. when i fixate on recreating another’s look, there are many times i don’t like my version as well, and i feel unsatisfied. to try and get myself out of this rut, i’ve started with one item i want to wear and used it to find inspiration within the rest of my closet. take this outfit for example. i wanted to be super productive yesterday, so i picked this button up i’ve always worn with my suit. i held it up against...
