SIA: London Underground
Welcome to another week of SIA! This week, our inspiration is the 1924 posters for the London Underground by illustrator Austin Cooper, and we have a lot of diverse interpretations, so let’s get to them!
First up is my co-host, Shelbee , who chose gingham and color-blocking to reflect the posters. I must admit, gingham is a brilliant idea – I have tons of gingham things and didn’t even think of them!
Up next is my other co-host, Terri , who went with the blue-and-yellow contrast. I also love her pendant, which has the graphic quality of the posters:
