The School

This school, where my Grandmother worked for most of her life, and where my Mom and Uncle studied. This school, where I would join my friends for the last week of their schooling. Where I would get meals, and where we would run around getting into trouble all summer long. This school is pure joy to me. And these benches, this view out the window in the staircase, and this particular pattern of stone leading up to the building. All tangible reminders of childhood.
