Lessons in Chemistry
Phew. What a week back at the office after a week in France when I was able to totally switch off. I didn't think about work, didn't check my emails. Bliss. Back to reality and it was non-stop last week so I went into this bank holiday weekend craving some downtime. I finished a book that I had been really, really struggling with (The Rabbit Hutch by Tess Gunty), a far cry from Lessons In Chemistry which I tore through before we left for French House. Took E to town to shop for birthday gifts whilst F was at modelling club (think tanks, cars etc rather than posing 😂) with my Dad. Enjoyed a progressive 4.5 mile run in the sun; it felt great to pick up the pace...
